Why “Over the Air” is becoming relevant now<\/h2>\n\n

Over-the-air is more than a technical buzzword. OTA describes a development through which vehicles are increasingly becoming digital systems. They can receive software, provide data, change functions and make technical information accessible, without every process necessarily having to take place on site at the vehicle. <\/p>\n\n

For dealerships and used car dealers, this development is becoming increasingly relevant. In the future, digital vehicle data can have a growing influence on how vehicles are purchased, valued, sold and serviced. <\/p>\n\n

In the trade, a vehicle has long ceased to consist only of model year, mileage, equipment and visual condition. Digital information is playing a role more and more often: software status, technical notes, diagnostic values, battery health, range of functions and available data sources.<\/p>\n\n
